Membership with The Geothermal Energy Association of Southern Africa offers various benefits
Classes of membership
The different classes of membership are as follows:
Founder member
Founder members were involved with the initial set up and building of the Association. They are listed on the website as such. The benefits and costs are the same as those for corporate members.
Corporate member
Corporate membership is open to companies and closed corporations.
Benefits include:
- Reduced cost of attending GEASA events and workshops for two nominees of the member corporation.
- Inclusion on the website as a corporate member.
Individual member
Individual membership is open to individuals who would like to be a part of GEASA.
Benefits include:
- Reduced cost of attending GEASA events and workshops for the individual member.
- Inclusion on the website as an individual member.
Academic
We envision academic institutions playing a large role in geothermal energy in Southern Africa, and as such we encourage the involvement of students, researchers and lecturers. Academic members are entitled to the academic discount on all GEASA events. Academic membership is issued on an individual basis.
